A Vision Takes Flight

Founded by Eric Nuffer, a passionate aviator and long-time owner of Giving Wings Aviation, Skydive TC has become a beacon of thrill and adventure in the world of skydiving. Eric's insatiable love for flying planes naturally led him to explore the exhilarating realm of skydiving, igniting a desire to share this remarkable experience with the world. With this vision in mind, Eric assembled a team of dedicated individuals, including Max, Dom, Jessica, Richard, and Josh, who wholeheartedly believed in his dream and worked tirelessly to make it a reality.

Eric's journey into skydiving began as a personal exploration of the skies, but soon, he realized that the joy and adrenaline rush he felt during each jump should not be confined to just a few. He believed that everyone should have the opportunity to taste the freedom of soaring through the air, and this belief became the driving force behind the creation of Skydive TC.

Max, a seasoned skydiver and instructor, was the first person Eric approached to partner with him on this venture. With Max's expertise and passion for the sport, he became an invaluable asset to the team. His vast knowledge of skydiving techniques, safety measures, and equipment ensured that Skydive TC would not only be thrilling but also a safe and professional operation.

Dom, an adventurous soul working as a tandem instructor and licensed rigger at a drop zone down state, made many trips north to Traverse City to jump with tandem students and help build the Skydive TC brand. With over 11,000 jumps under his belt, Dom is a true skydiving expert and asset to the team.

Jessica, a detail-oriented individual with outstanding organizational skills and a history of jumping out of planes, took charge of the day-to-day operations at Skydive TC. From managing reservations to coordinating with instructors and pilots, Jessica ensured that every aspect of a customer's experience was smooth and seamless. Her dedication and commitment to providing exceptional customer service played a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and buzzing atmosphere at the drop zone.

Richard, an experienced pilot, CFI, and A&P IA, had been a longtime colleague of Eric's at Giving Wings Aviation. When Eric shared his vision of starting a skydiving operation, Richard jumped at the opportunity to be a part of this adrenaline-fueled project. With his deep understanding of aviation and extraordinary piloting skills, Richard ensured that each skydive began and ended with utmost safety and precision.

Josh, a passionate problem solver, aviation lover, and resident millennial (aka IT guy by proxy) joined the team as our Manifest Director. His diverse skillsets fill in the gaps - from web design and video editing, to customer service and shuttle driving, he gets things done!

Together, Eric, Max, Dom, Jessica, Richard, and Josh formed a very well-rounded team, using their unique skills and deep passions for skydiving and aviation in general to establish Skydive TC as a premier destination for aerial adventure. The shared belief in the transformative power of this thrilling sport has allowed them to bring Eric's vision to life, sharing the joy of skydiving with the masses and creating unforgettable memories for all who dare to take flight with Skydive TC.
